Important Announcement: Aurora Precision Business Update

Dear Valued Customers and Friends of Aurora Precision,

After more than two decades of serving the amateur and professional astronomy community, we have made the difficult decision to begin winding down operations of the telescope portion of our business at Aurora Precision.

Since our founding in 2002, it has been our privilege to provide high-quality precision telescope components and accessories to DIY telescope builders and observatories around the world. We are deeply grateful for your support, loyalty, and enthusiasm over the years—it has meant a great deal to us.

Current Status:

• We are actively winding down the business, though we do not yet have a confirmed final closing date although we anticipate sometime in the next 30-60 days.

• We will continue to fulfill orders for U.S. customers as long as inventory allows, subject to availability.

• Effective immediately, we are no longer accepting or processing orders from international customers due to logistical and operational constraints during this transition.

• We will check current inventory and provide you with an estimated lead time and availability.

• We encourage you to reach out soon, as stock levels will continue to decrease over time.

We remain committed to responding to inquiries and assisting where possible during this period. This is not a sudden shutdown—our goal is to handle the transition thoughtfully and support our long-time customers to the best of our ability.
